IVIX raises $60m Series B funding to fight financial crime with AI

IVIX, the New York–based startup, has raised $60 million in a Series B round led by O.G. Venture Partners, bringing its total funding raised to $85 million.

Founded in 2020 by CEO Matan Fattal and CPO Doron Passov, IVIX offers AI-powered software to assist authorities in detecting and dismantling global financial fraud, including intricate schemes that incorporate cryptocurrencies and money laundering.

The funding round included significant participation from Insight Partners, Citi Ventures, Team8, Disruptive AI, Cardumen Capital, and Cerca.

IVIX’s platform leverages large language models (LLMs), advanced graph analytics, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) to index publicly available data, enabling authorities in the U.S., Europe, and Asia to identify billions of dollars’ worth of illicit financial activity. Thanks to this technology, investigators can trace complex financial networks, such as shell companies, layered laundering chains, and anonymous crypto transfers, with far more speed and precision than traditional methods allow.

Matan Fattal emphasised the innovative nature of IVIX’s solution:

“This is the most complex technology I’ve ever worked on… Our Series B success positions us to advance our capabilities and help more authorities around the world stay ahead of the rapidly evolving shadow economy.”

OGVP’s Managing Partner for EMEA, Ziv Kop, added:

“The innovative ability of their technology to unearth illicit financial activities is not just impressive, it’s critical for governments in the digital age… OGVP is excited to lead this new financing round.”

As financial crime evolves, spurred by pseudonymous blockchain activity, micro-transactions, and global e-commerce, the estimated $20 trillion shadow economy remains largely opaque. IVIX is tackling that opacity head-on, delivering what insiders call the intelligence layer that illuminates hidden financial networks and accelerates investigations for governments at scale.

IVIX now maintains a global presence, with offices across the U.S., Europe, South America, and Asia, and is actively expanding its team, including plans to grow its R&D capabilities.
