If you want to make this year a white Christmas to remember, then you may want to step things up for your business too. It doesn’t matter whether you write a post about the top Christmas movies or whether you send out Christmas cards because you need to put your customers first. So stop wondering how many days until Christmas, and make a positive change, starting today.
Let It Spin
Why not play spin the wheel with your customers? When you do, you will soon find that your customers can win some great, and probably some awful prizes. Give your customers the chance to spin a virtual wheel online and when they do, you can then give them the chance to win a prize.
You can be pretty comical here, such as by adding a holiday to the city right next to a rubber duck prize. As your customers see the wheel edging closer to the holiday, they’ll worry that they’re going to come away with a comical prize.
Little things like this can encourage people to talk about your business and you would be surprised at how much it could help you to really connect with your audience. You can also play some Christmas songs during the spin too!
Beware of the Grinch
Sky, a broadband company once appointed an actor who dressed up as the Grinch. They then surprised the customer service team by having the Grinch dismantle the Christmas tree and also by starting a snowball fight. Sky then gave their teams a stocking, one for each employee.
The team could then choose from a catalogue of items, where they could choose a number of gifts. This really helped the team to appreciate the service. Remember that it is also more than possible for you to do this for your customers as well, by giving them a phone call from a themed character while everyone wishes for a white Christmas.
Giant Advent Calendar
When someone buys something from your business, you could ask them to open a digital advent calendar, that corresponds to the day that they made their purchase. You can then give them anything from a discount code to a prize. Little things like this work in a very similar way to spin the wheel, but they are way more festive If you want to help to spread the Christmas cheer.
12 Days Of Christmas
Do you want to do something in the lead up to Christmas? Why not surprise your customers with a small gift. You can do this to the customers who have spent the most money at your business if you want. When you do this, you simply need to send something out every day for 12 days.
This may sound a lot, but one day you could give them a discount code. Another day, you could give them a pen with your company branding, and various other things. The more you can do things like this, the more you will remind your customers about your brand and this will really work in your favour.
Get Your Customers Involved With Decorating
When your customers come to your business premises, why not ask them to put Christmas decorations on the tree? Providing hand sanitiser would be good here with the pandemic, but at the end of the day, it is a fantastic way for you to get your customers to give their input and you would be surprised at how much it could help them to feel as though they are part of your brand.
Send Out A Christmas Message
We live in very uncertain times. For this reason, your customers may well appreciate having you send them out a Christmas message. When you do, you will be able to show your customers how much you care about them and you can also tell them that you are wishing them all the best for the festive season. The great thing about this is that it doesn’t have to cost you at all, but you could easily make a lasting impression on your customers. If you want, you can even send out branded Christmas cards too!
In summary, even though we are in the middle of a pandemic, it’s now easier than ever for you to make your Christmas memorable, for both you and your customers. Contact us today at Tedbree if you need help with your Christmas branding today.
