Tech For Good
We are delighted to have received the Tech For Good Awards, in the international category. By The Best of Brazil Global Awards' held on Saturday 30th October 2021.
The event took place at Kensington Palace's Pavillion. Also, the event drew over 300 glamorously dressed guests and dignitaries from 17 different nationalities.
Her Royal Highness Queen Diambi of the Bakwa Indu in Kasai, Democratic Republic of Congo. Also, Her Royal Highness Princess AlSayyida Basma Al-Said of Oman were among the dignitaries present.
Meet Tommie Edwards
Tommie Edwards is the Founder and Chief Executive of Tedbree. She is an award-winning serial Tech entrepreneur. A G20 delegate for the United Kingdom. Also, an executive board member, once named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Tech UK by Financial Times and Inclusive Boards.
Adding to her collections of awards and recognition is the Tech for Good award by The Best of Brazil Awards 2021. In addition, Tommie is recently shortlisted as one of the three finalists for the Tech100women100 Award 2021.
She frequently speaks on different international platforms about the effect of leveraging technology. Also, about the importance of collaboration, and the need for diversity in the global digital technology ecosystem. In addition, she has been featured in several magazines and articles. Which includes Forbes, the director magazine, and a host of others.
Tommie sits as a chairperson on a couple of boards. While acting at an advisory level for many other boards, including the Institute of Business Transformation. She is a member of the London Chamber of Commerce and Institute of directors, among others.
Furthermore, she enjoys mentoring upcoming entrepreneurs and young professionals to achieve a fulfilling career.
It's her dream to be a part of a world in which businesses of all sizes have access to the tools they need to transform their organisations. For growth and exceptional talents - regardless of their age, location, race, or gender.
Receiving the Award
Tommie accepted the award with pride for all of the efforts the Tedbree team has put in with the Tedbree initiative called Tedbree Nation - Accelerating tech careers for talents worldwide regardless of their sex, age, race, or location.
In her acceptance speech, she congratulated High Profile Magazine, her team and everyone who contributed to Tedbree one way or another.
Saying;
"Thanks, everyone, for being here today and thank you so much for this award. It is exciting having people value the things you do, and I want to say a big thank you to my Team for their hard work and to everyone that supported us. Also, to Raphael, I want to say a great shout out for organising such a lovely event. Everyone is looking beautiful, and I am thrilled to be here".
With Tedbree's name inscribed on it, the award brought about joy and hope to the Tedbree Team. As they are prepared to storm the Tech Industry in full force.
Speaking with the Awardee
When speaking with Tommie, she iterated that she was taken aback since she first received simply an invitation to the event.
According to the invitation, she would be presenting an award to the Queen of the Democratic Republic of Congo. While also being a speaker at the event. She disclosed this to her followers on her Instagram page.
She had no idea she would get an award for her company, Tedbree. Although, she is pleased that our hard work and contribution to humanity in Tedbree hasn't gone unnoticed. In her very own terms, she stated;
'We are honoured to be a part of this. We've been creating waves in the technology and digital worlds for quite some time. So, we're thrilled to be able to share our newest triumph with you'.

Tommie recently got shortlisted as one of the three finalists for the Techwomen100 Award 2021. And, she took to her social media platform to share this great news.
"I am honoured and thrilled to be shortlisted as one of the three finalists for the Techwomen100 Award 2021 - Champion Category." We are keeping our fingers crossed!
