London-based AI startup iGent AI has officially emerged from stealth mode, securing a £6.3M Seed round led by HV Capital, with additional backing from XTX Ventures, TwinPath, 10x Founders, and Dhyan.

The company’s flagship product, Maestro, is a game-changer in software engineering. It leverages in-context learning, inference-time reasoning, and advanced AI techniques to solve complex problems, helping developers modernize old code and build new solutions.

HV Capital, a major investor in European tech known for its investments in companies like Flix, Zalando, Delivery Hero, Sumup, and Depop, sees strong potential in iGent AI. "Maestro transforms how we tackle software engineering," said Sean Ward, CEO and co-founder of iGent AI. "It allows developers to focus on the 'why' and 'what' while Maestro handles the 'how' with exceptional intelligence."

Martin Szummer, an expert in AI and former VocalIQ lead acquired by Apple, also praised Maestro’s capabilities. "What sets Maestro apart is its ability to engage across the entire software development process from architectural decisions to maintaining consistency across complex systems."

With this fresh funding, iGent AI aims to reshape how developers solve engineering challenges, positioning Maestro as an important tool in modern software development.
